This popular, one hour awareness course is designed to give members the confidence to perform effective CPR and access and use an AED safely and with confidence. It’s suitable for anyone aged 8 years and over.

During a cardiac arrest, CPR is extremely important to keep the brain oxygenated. If a casualty does NOT receive effective CPR within around 4 minutes of their heart stopping they are, at best, likely to suffer irreversible brain damage. That’s why effective CPR is so important!
