The Organising Authority (OA) is the West Oxfordshire Sailing Club (WOSC)
West Oxford Sailing Club (WOSC) will be hosting a Topper class Open meeting on Saturday 17 August 2024, with separate prizes for 5.3 and 4.2 rigs.

The plan for this one-day event is:
9:30 Boat park open, registration, bacon rolls, tea and coffee (£2.50)
10:30 Briefing
11:00 5.3 fleet 1st race
11:05 4.2 fleet 1st race
12:00 5.3 fleet 2nd race
12:05 4.2 fleet 2nd race
13:00 lunch (included in entry fee for sailors, £4 for others)
14:30 5.3 fleet 3rd race
14:05 4.2 fleet 3rd race
15:30 5.3 fleet 4th race
15:35 4.2 fleet 4th race
16:30 Prizegiving
Tea and cake (included for sailors, £1 for others)
18:00 Dinner at the clubhouse (reserve at time of registration £10 per adult, £5 under 16’s)
There are prizes to be won for first, second and third placed boats with 5.3 rigs, and 1st and 2nd placed boats with 4.2 rigs; there may also be a prize for the highest placed Oxfordshire boat.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the swimming either in the small family swimming area or if experienced use the 800m swimming circuit, and to bring paddle boards.
Camping will be available to competitors at no extra cost on a first come first served basis, please book in advance to guarantee your place. Visitors to WOSC planning on camping should bring a £20 note to be used as deposit for a clubhouse access card; the £20 will be refunded on return of the access card. Please let us know if you would like to camp on Friday evening, so we can organise access to the sailing club.
