W.O.S.C 48th Annual dinner and dance
At Witney Lakes Resort (Green's Golf Club.) Three course meal with dancing to follow. Open to all members and their friends.
Price: £25 per head
Dress code: Smart (black tie optional)
Menu (choice of one of the following of each course)
Starter
Prawn cocktail with iceberg lettuce, lime and paprika mayonnaise
Mozzarella, basil, avocado tomato salad with herb vinaigrette
Smooth chicken liver pate with red onion marmalade and granary toast
Main course
Roast loin of pork flavoured with caraway and served with an apple and sage sauce
Roast breast of chicken wrapped in smoked bacon with roasted shallots and madeira sauce
Fillet of cod grilled with welsh rarebit topping served on a tomato sauce
Desserts
Belgium chocolate and brandy torte with locally made double cream and season berries
Caramelised lemon tart with candied lemon
Eton mess (crushed meringue, chantilly cream and seasonal berries)
